Coalition of Immokalee Workers is a grassroots group, formed and run by workers in Immokalee, FL. They have faced some of the worst working conditions in America, but recently found success in bringing about higher wages for tomato picking. They launched a national campaign to force Taco Bell to pay more for their produce and were able to unite organizations from around the country to support their cause.
